Spring Kamchatka Bear Hunt
Spring Bear Hunt lasts from April 25th through May 25th.
A limit for our company is 10-12 licenses.
Usually two tours are carried out. The first one is conducted from April 25th through May 6th; the second one from May 8th through May 20th.
A number of hunters for one tour averages from 2 to 6 people.
The Central Base on the shore of Golyginskoye Lake accommodates hunters in single and double rooms.
The hunters can bring their accompanying people for additional fee.
10 people can be accommodated in the camp with comfort.
Arrived into Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the hunters are met at the airport of Elizovo town. Then, according to weather conditions (flying or non-flying weather) we have the following action plan:
Non-flying forecast – the guests are accommodated in a hotel until weather gets better.
By guests’ will, it is possible to organize driving to thermal hot springs, city tour with visiting hunter’s and souvenir stores for additional fee.
Flying forecast – after receiving baggage, drive to a helipad of one of air companies and fly into our hunting camp located in 200 km away from Petropavlovsk on the south of the peninsula. The flight is done by Mi-8 helicopter; flight time is 1 hour.
Having flown into the hunting camp, the guests are accommodated in a hotel, introduced to their guides, get briefing on safety rules, conditions and regulations of hunting, test their guns, get their outfit adjusted according to local condition, and have some rest. One guide serves two hunters during spring hunt.
By tradition, started by our company in 1996, no hunting is done on both arrival and departure days.
The daily routine on spring hunt:
1. 6:00 am Wake up
2. 7:00 am - 8:00 am Breakfast
3. 8:00 am Drive to a hunting site
4. 8:00 am – 8:00 pm Hunting
5. 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm Dinner

During a spring hunt having driven into various places depending on game situation in the morning, the hunters always come back into the Central Base on Lake Golyginskoye to overnight (with a rare exception).
